AMATEUR RACING INFORMATION
A FEW IMPORTANT NOTES...
No pets - except in camping Lot A, in air conditioned RVs. Pets may not leave your campsite.
NO PIT BIKES THIS WEEKEND. No golf carts, ATVs, scooters or anything motorized.
Ticket gates accept cash only. Amateur registration also accepts Visa & Mastercard.
No weapons (MI state law prohibits firearms at sporting events).
No glass containers, but you are welcome to bring coolers, food and beverages.
MEMBERSHIPS REQUIRED (for racing only; no membership needed for Thursday practice):
Please check back for updated 2012 membership requirements.
50 Track (KTM Kids Track) is not open this weekend.
Due to its location, we don't use the 50 Track this weekend. All the normal 50 Track classes are included in the Friday and Saturday night races, but not in the practice and races on the pro track. We cut out the sand section of the night track for the 50 Track classes.
Thursday
Practice on the pro track. 65cc bikes & up. 10am - 6pm. (Break in the middle for pro media day riding.) Six practice groups, 3 rotations each. $30/group.
Friday
Racing on the pro track. 65cc bikes & up. $40/class. Practice at 8am.
Friday Night
Racing on the night track for all classes. $30/class; minus a $5 Ironman Discount if you raced Friday on the pro track. Bring your pro track receipt to signup. Race order will be similar to the day race order, plus the addition of 50cc classes, to accommodate riders who want to race twice Friday.
Saturday Night
Racing on the night track for all classes. $30/class; minus a $5 Ironman Discount if you raced Friday on the pro track. Bring your pro track receipt to signup. Signup reopens at 6pm; practice starts at 7pm.
Sunday
Racing on the FULL PRO TRACK*. 65cc classes & up. $40/class. Practice at 8am.
This is the only day of the year that we run the entire pro course layout! The asterisk above is just in case there are weather or other issues that cause any classes to have a problem in pro sections. There haven't been any issues in the three years we've raced the full course ... all the classes ran the whole pro track.
