REDBUD PRO NATIONAL #49!

Saturday July 2nd, Round 5 of the Lucas Oil Motocross Championship returns to Buchanan, Michigan.

National weekend will return in 2022 with amateur events Thursday (June 30) through Sunday (July 3), and the main event – the Lucas Oil Motocross Championship – on Saturday, July 2.

General Admission tickets, Reserved Camping and pit passes are available online now.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING YOUR CAMPING ONLINE to secure the lot of your choice.  Tickets don’t sell out, but camping is limited.

If you’re buying a ticket online, choose the ticket for the day you plan to arrive.  If you’re coming Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, buy a ticket for that day and it’ll be good through Sunday.  If you’re coming Saturday, you have a choice between a Saturday Only ticket (good until midnight), or a Saturday/Sunday ticket.  THE ONLY 1-DAY TICKET IS FOR SATURDAY.  There are no refunds if you don’t stay through the weekend.  The event is built around the Lucas Oil Motocross Championship on Saturday: it’s a pro national with optional amateur days, not the other way around.   Just looking for a practice day or amateur race day?  Check our schedule for more amateur event dates.

TICKETS AND CAMPING

All available tickets and camping are posted on at the link below, along with descriptions and prices.
General Admission is always available at the event!
We recommend buying camping in advance to secure the lot you want.  You can also buy your choice of available camping lots at the event gate.

 Tickets & Camping

WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY: You pay one time on the day you arrive.  Your ticket (wristband), and camping (if applicable) will be good through the entire event, until the conclusion of racing on Sunday.

There is no Thursday-only or Friday-only ticket.

This event is built around the PRO NATIONAL MOTOCROSS on SATURDAY.  All tickets include Saturday.  If you’re looking for a one-day ticket, Saturday is it!  Your ticket includes the pro national, the night racing afterwards and the fireworks after dark; it’s good until the night race concludes!   If you’re camping Saturday night and/or staying for the Sunday race, you’ll need a Saturday/Sunday ticket.  Not interested in the pro race?  We suggest coming for an amateur race weekend on a different date so you’re not paying for something you don’t want.

Arrive early Saturday!  Avoid the long lines and enjoy early practice sessions starting at 8am.  Practice is a great time to walk around and check out different track sections and places to sit for the day.  Bring a blanket and/or chairs, an umbrella for shade, and a cooler if you’d like.  Just no glass containers or alcohol, please.   There are some areas outside the infield where you can use an EZ Up. Umbrellas can be used anywhere, but small umbrellas only in bleachers, please.

TICKET UPGRADES

VIP Passes are available as an ADD-ON to General Admission tickets.

Trackside Parking/Tailgating: the fence row spaces are sold out, but parking is still available inside Track Gate 1 and 3.  This parking is ideal if you need to have supplies nearby in your car.  Gate 1 parking is close to a shady spectator hillside with a great track view.

Grandstand Seating:  Open seating, free grandstands are available on the infield next to the ski jump, and at LaRocco’s Leap.  Small coolers that fit between your feet, and small personal umbrellas that don’t hit or block the person sitting behind you are allowed.

HANDICAP ACCESS AND VIEWING

Just coming for Saturday?  The best parking is through Gate A on Red Bud Trail.  Please show state handicap placard to help us direct you as smoothly and quickly as possible.

SEE FACILITY MAP

Option 1:  Parking inside the Gate 1 entrance to the pro track area.
You must enter through Gate A on Red Bud Trail to access this area.  USE ONE OF THE LEFT 3 GATE LANES WHEN YOU ENTER!
This is a great track view away from the crowd and close to your parking area.  There’s a large tent where you and your guests can enjoy the races under shelter, hopefully from the sun!
Show your handicap parking tag and ask to be directed to Gate 1, straight ahead after leaving the gate lane booth.  You’ll drive through Gate 1 and head up the hill; you can’t miss the large tent on the right when you get to the top.

Option 2:  Parking outside the Gate 4 entrance to the pro track area.  This is accessible only from a Red Bud Trail (east) entrance.

Option 3: Parking near Gate 6, accessible from the Main Street (west) entrance.   Once inside the pro track area, you can use the front, bottom row of the reserved infield grandstands at no charge.  The grandstands are set on concrete and there’s plenty of room for a wheelchair in front of the Row 1 seats where your guests can sit with you.

If you’re camping, bring your handicap tag or sticker.  We’ll direct you to a camping row with the best access to handicap shuttle carts to take you to and from the track.  There are no camping spaces where you can watch the races.  Call 269-695-6405 /email [email protected] for more information.

FOOD, BEVERAGE AND SOUVENIR CONCESSIONS

A variety of food and beverages are available at both the pro track and night track midway areas.
