ALL OPEN RIDING DAYS ARE WEATHER AND CONDITIONS PERMITTING!
SW Michigan weather is very hard to predict due to our proximity to Lake Michigan. Sometimes we can’t make a decision until the morning of the event so ALWAYS CHECK BEFORE YOU LEAVE on Facebook (RedBud Motocross), Instagram (RedBudMX) or this website’s home page.
REGISTER ONLINE HERE Note: AMA membership is not required for Open Riding. Click “Bypass” when asked to enter your membership number. Since Open Riding days are not AMA sanctioned, we can’t accept an AMA Minor waiver card.
Take the fast lane at the track by registering online! Once registered, come to an Online Signups window at the track to check in and pick up your wristband.
Note: All riders must come to Registration to pick up a practice group wristband.
MINOR WAIVER REQUIREMENTS: Our insurance requires that BOTH parents or legal guardians complete a waiver. You can handle that three ways:
1. Register your rider online and complete the waivers in the process. LOOK FOR THE EMAIL VERIFICATION to complete the registration. Bring or send your rider to Registration at the track to check in and pick up a wristband.
2. Both parents can complete a SMARTWAIVER online in advance, then you won’t need to sign any forms when registering at the track. (We can look up your waiver at Registration.) Bring or send your rider to Registration to sign up at the track.
3. Both parents come to Registration at the track, with the rider, to fill out and sign a Minor Waiver and register the rider.

Event Format
Big Track Riding: 12:00pm – 6:00pm
50 Track Riding: 12:00pm – 5:30pm
Groups rotate every 15 minutes on each track.
Big Track: 65cc and up motorcycles. No quads. Groups are:
A&B class racers / C class and non-racers / Vet (30 & up) racers / Minibikes
YOU MUST PRESENT A VALID OR RECENTLY EXPIRED AMA CARD IN ORDER TO RIDE THE A&B OR VET RACER GROUP!
Groups alternate in 15-minute sessions.
50 Track: Beginners on 50cc, 65cc , 85cc and small trail bikes, mini quads. Groups are separated based on the riders and bikes for each Open Riding event.
Gear Requirements
DOT full face helmet / Goggles / long sleeves / long pants / boots over the ankle. We strongly recommend gloves and motocross riding boots and gear, but they’re not mandatory. All additional safety equipment is the rider’s choice.
Mini ATVs (on the 50 track) must have a functioning tether with cord attached to the rider’s gear, and nerf bars.
Gate and Registration Info
Gates open at 10am the morning of each Open Riding event. Sorry, there is no camping the night before.
Gate fee $7 for anyone riding OR over the age of 11.

TRACK RULES & INFO
- Food & Drink concession available.
- RedBud store is open.
- Pets are allowed; must be on a leash.
- Golf cart and side-by-sides can be used by ADULTS (age 18+) ONLY, for transportation to and from the track. NO PIT BIKES!
Please ride cautiously and responsibly. - No riding in fields.
- NO DRONES.
